The water lilies are beautiful, but the frog photos are outstanding! I don't get to see frogs much. They look a little like our bullfrogs but I looked up their size and they are smaller. I like the markings and the golden eyes. In the last photo, the water is so clear the frog looks like it is floating in air.
LG Patricia
Really gorgeous work!! My wish all year has been to photograph a frog and I haven't seen one yet. These images are stunning of the frog and lily pads. I am your newest follower.
These frogs - the guardians of the water lilies - live in a small pond in the garden of the botanical institute of Wuerzburg University. It looks like they are really used to have people sitting close to them and if you move slowly you can draw very close to them. The first photo I took with a macro lens - so the distance to the frog was approximately 20 to 30 cm!
These are wonderful! I wish there had been frogs in my pond. They are so cool! I love the way you caught the light in some of these shots - really beautiful!
Another lovely fairy tale, Uwe! A prince was cast a spell to turn to a frog by a malicious wizard and is swimming to find a flower princess to break the spell. In Japanese, a frog sings “kuak, kuak”, too.
Cute froggie and nice and colorful photos. :)
AntwortenLöschen"KVAAK KVAAK" from Finland. :D
...that would have been my next question, Pieni: what is the frog sound in Finnish???
AntwortenLöschen--> Now I know! Quak, quak / kvaak, kvaak from Germany to you!
Do you have an official holiday (Whitmonday) in Finland today as well???
Uwe.
Great photos, frogs I do not often see sometimes hopping in the grass as I mwn the lawn. Have a great day! Kr Ritva
AntwortenLöschenBe still my heart, be still... sigh... stunning photography! Wishing I was that cute frog, I would patiently wait for a Prince to kiss me :)
AntwortenLöschenKwaak, kwaak, kwaak... have a great day and don't get sun burned,
B.
Great pictures of the frogs! And a nice blog. Thanks for visiting mine.

LöschenYour images are so crisp! They complement the frog details nicely.
AntwortenLöschenThat's why (real) photographers should use a camera and not a cell phone to take pictures... ;-)
LöschenBut more or less it's all a matter of passion!
No passion - no crisp photos... ;-))
Thanks for stopping by!
These are absolutely amazing, the colours are so strong and vivid
